Hi @ShadowWizard! Since this room is for not native speakers mostly, could you give me a clue what does "I can only offer coffee, tea, or waffles" mean? Is it kind of a joke? What is the sense behind?

@NicolasChabanovsky hehe, yeah not really a joke just some fun. On Stack Exchange chat, there are rooms with "virtual drinks/food", where people can chat just for fun. So I can say "giving waffles to @Bart", and he can "accept" the waffles and reply something funny in return. For example:
