Would it make more sense to move the paging controls on the stars page to the bottom? It feels a bit counter-intuitive to scroll down scanning for the starred item you're looking for, only to have to go to the top of the page to go to the next page.
Seems like scroll down > hit next > scroll down > hit next would make more sense?
