It's like if you were to ask somebody a question face-to-face and they say "hmm... well here's the thing...", and then they stand there, silent.

Actually it's also kind of like when the cable guy says "I'll be there between 1PM and 6PM", and you sit around with hands tied, having no idea when he'll be there, until he arrives at 5:59PM.
