The question is not very sensible (demanding a language syntax change for personal preferences).
The amount of upvotes for such a subjective post is irking me, but nothing uncommon for [php]. What's very odd is the comment upvotes.
The poster got consistently +5 great comment flags for every such. Which is why I suspect there is someone helping out there (= then likely with the question votes too), or it's some kind of fluke.
(Similar as in the previous question. Albeit there it's not consistently +5 great comment points.)
